Flexible Resin
Flexible Resin simulates an 80A durometer rubber, and makes parts that can bend and compress. Requires UV post-cure. Supports print resolutions: 100, 50 microns.
Functional Prototyping Materials for Engineers
Formlabs Engineering Resins simulate a range of injection-molded plastics, covering the full spectrum of properties required to conceptualize, prototype, test, and manufacture successful final products.
Formulated to deliver the highest-quality output, Formlabs resin captures astonishing detail without sacrificing durability and toughness.
Flexible
Flexible Resin simulates an 80A durometer rubber. Use the versatile material to produce parts that need to bend and compress. Flexible is excellent for simulationg soft-touch materials and adding ergonomic features to multi-material assemblies.
- Handles, grips and overmolds
- Cushioning and dampening
- Wearables prototyping
- Packaging
- Stamps
Flexible
flexible is a softer material, with a durometer of 80A around that of rubber used for shoe soles or tire treads. this more elastic material has a low tensile modulus and high elongation.
